Contract processing

LABOSHOP processes address data, contact data, order data and bank details for the purpose of contract processing. The collection and processing of these data is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract, as it is not possible for us to conclude the contract with you or to execute it without these data.

The legal basis for this processing is the execution or initiation of the contract. The data will not be passed on to third parties, with the exception of shipping service providers for the delivery of the goods, suppliers for direct deliveries, tax advisors for the fulfilment of our tax obligations and banking institutions for the processing of payment transactions. 

Contact form

LABOSHOP processes any data provided in the contact form like name, e-mail address oder phone number exclusively to respond to the respective inquiry.

The legal basis for this processing ist the execution or initiation of the contract. The data will not be passed on to third parties.

Advertising

LABOSHOP processes your contact information to inform you regularly about product novelties, special offers, events and other highlights. 

The legal basis for this processing is your consent. The data will not be transmitted to third parties, with the exception of the partner company, which is responsible for the technical processing of the newsletter mailing. In these cases, however, the scope of the transmitted data is limited to the required minimum.  

If you have registered for the LABOSHOP Newsletter, the data you provided during registration will be used for the purpose of sending you the LABOSHOP newsletter. Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter should click on the unsubscribe link included in all newsletters sent by LABOSHOP to unsubscribe. 

LABOSHOP will only contact you for promotional purposes by other than postal means if you have given your separate consent or if a legal basis exists. 

Credit check

LABOSHOP reserves the right to obtain credit information about you for purchases on account or financing requests. For this purpose, LABOSHOP may send your name and address to credit agencies in your respective country. In case of negative feedback on characteristics of your creditworthiness, LABOSHOP reserves the right to adjust the contractual conditions or to reject a contractual relationship with you.  

The legal basis for processing is a balance of interests. Our legitimate interest lies in assessing your creditworthiness and reducing the risk of non-payment. 

LABOSHOP reserves the right to use another credit agency in place of the credit agency mentioned. In this case, LABOSHOP will ensure that it offers at least the same guarantee of compliance with data protection as used previously.

Cookies

LABOSHOP uses so-called "Session Cookies", which save your settings on the website to recognise them when you next visit this website. You can delete these cookies manually at any time in your browser settings. If this is not done, they expire automatically after a maximum of 6 months. Our legitimate interest lies in the statistical evaluation and optimisation of this website as well as the recognition of and defence against attacks. These data will not be transferred to third parties. If there are specific indications for any illegal activity, LABOSHOP reserves the right to check these data retrospectively. 

Paypal

LABOSHOP offers payment method PayPal. If you choose this method, your payment data will be transferred to PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.

If you do not accept the transfer of data to PayPal, please select a different payment method.

Sanction list control and export bans

LABOSHOP is obliged to check customers, suppliers and employees to ensure that they do not belong to a defined group of terrorist suspects and thus prevent the financing of terrorist acts. According to the EU Anti-terror Regulations EC No. 2580/2001, EC No. 881/2002 and EC No. 753/2011 it is therefore necessary to regularly compare data with the so-called terror lists. If there is a match with the lists, LABOSHOP will not enter into a contractual relationship with the person or the company. The data are stored for a period of one year and are then deleted. 

If you enter a delivery address outside the EU, we are obliged to check your customer data in accordance with the Foreign Trade and Payments Act for compliance with export bans and embargoes and as proof of the VAT-exempt calculation to recipients in a non-EU country. Furthermore, a customs declaration of your shipment will be made. 

The legal basis for these processing operations is the fulfilment of legal obligations.

Third parties

We transmit address and negative data to our DT&SHOP parent company. The legal basis for processing is a balance of interests. Our legitimate interest lies in the targeted approach, e.g. for advertising purposes. Of course, you can object to the forwarding of your data at any time. 

Duration of processing

The respective commercial or tax law obligations for retaining personal data are decisive for the duration of data storage, unless otherwise stated in this privacy policy. The data are routinely deleted after expiry of the corresponding deadline if they are no longer required to fulfil the contract or another purpose.

Google Analytics

LABOSHOP uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC on this website. The use includes the "Universal Analytics" operating mode. Google Analytics enables us to analyse the pseudonymised usage behaviour of visitors to our website and to obtain user-related information. The legal basis for using this service is a balance of interests. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis of the usage behaviour and the optimisation of the offer on our website.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA where it is stored.
